My husband and I would like to give thanks to a man who was around our neighbourhood today (Feb. 5), up in the Cliffs Over Maple Bay, driving a small snow plow which he used to clean our driveway from snow.
He said he’s been around several surrounding areas with his plow, and when he sees people, especially the elderly, shovelling their drive, he helps them out.
But I managed to track down this elusive good Samaritan, learning his name, which is Dan Wright, who is a local builder.
He declined the money we offered him for his work and said, “I grew up with parents who taught me to, help others out where you can, and that’s what I’m doing.”
Hats off to this wonderful man named Dan. Thank you sir! May good come back to you.
