Off-leash dog a menace
My son and I and our little dog were enjoying a walk along the Cowichan River. Many people were out that day. I noticed a lot of seniors with their walking devices. Along came two women and a young boy and a mid sized exuberant dog. No, he wasn’t on a leash. I kept my dog close. The other dog ran at full tilt toward me and slammed into my leg. Yes I was mad; it not only hurt but I thought of my little dog and all those seniors who don’t need broken hips.
The two women were either demented or they didn’t see or care what their out-of-control dog did. What does it take for people to figure out that their false sense of entitlement is just that, false?
