I thank Foster for his Jan. 4 letter. I did not agree with Mr. Lowther but said he had a point “that Christianity was not the only religion”.
I have taught Sunday school and put on a number of pretty fair Christmas concerts as a school teacher. I like Christmas music and other religious music.
I have researched other religions and feel most have merit and believe in the one God scenario. I would like you to broaden your outlook to have, if not love, at least compassion and understanding, for mankind regardless of their beliefs, as none of this is worth killing over.
This was to be my letter, then this morning of Jan. 6 Mr. Lowther’s letter appeared; lighten up guys, enjoy humanity.
