Province should boot out MMBC

Duncan – I have noticed that the new recycling company MMBC has set new rules. They have decided that certain products are no longer allowed in the recycle bins.

I was under the impression that recycling was a good thing for the environment and anything that can be taken out of the regular land fill is the right thing to do.

This foreign company from Toronto is showing its true colours.

They are telling us that money drives this operation.

If they can’t make a profit on the recyclables then they don’t want them.

The B.C. government should be giving MMBC a boot to the curb, unless they believe in this philosophy of making money over protecting our environment. It will only get worse.
