The CVRD in their infinite wisdom has once again decided to increase the 2017 taxes by a whopping six per cent. In the meantime we can all watch nearly empty buses cruising our streets and wasting our tax dollars.  That part is only what is visible on the street. There is plenty more waste conceived and implemented behind closed doors. Don’t forget, these increases are compounding year after year. Isn’t it comforting that we, the public, are in such good hands? A major shakeup is long overdo.
