Night raiders are not satisfied stealing garden ornaments or Christmas decorations in season from your front yard, they are also targeting back yards.
We live in North Cowichan and at approximately 3 a.m. in the morning our back yard motion light was activated by a young man, who, even knowing I had spotted him through the venetian blind, decided to pick up two roughly 16-inch leaf-shaped hypertufa ornaments and carry them away.
Even rapping sharply on the window didn’t deter him.
My daughter made these using large rhubarb leaves as forms.
