New players, regardless of experience, are welcome as the Cowichan Rec Lacrosse League prepares for another season.
The league plays games on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights from late April to early July, primarily at the Island Savings Centre Arena.
Contact is limited. Mandatory equipment includes a stick, helmet with facemask, slashguards and gloves.
No experience in lacrosse is required, and new players are encouraged.
