The Lake Cowichan Fire Department and the Keith Nelson Countrywide Realty U18 Lakers faced off at the Cowichan Lake Arena on April 9 in their annual benefit game for the Lake Cowichan Food Bank.

Both teams created plenty of scoring chances, but in the end, the Fire Department came out on top, beating the U18 team 11-8.
