Lake Cowichan Timbits take to the ice at Kraken game

U7 team keeps the crowd warmed up between periods

The U7 Tim Hortons Timbits Lakers took to the ice at the Cowichan Lake Sports Arena on Sunday, Dec. 5, between periods of the Lake Cowichan Kraken junior B hockey game, and anyone who took the opportunity to visit the concession stand missed out on a great show.

“The kids had so much fun doing this,” team manager Jada Forrest said. “We have just been given the go ahead to start playing other teams, so before this the kids haven’t played in front of anyone beside parents and grandparents this season.”

The U7 Lakers will host their own jamboree at the arena this Saturday.
