The U11 Duncan Cardinals capped off their baseball season last month by claiming a trio of trophies.

Keeping positive attitudes and competitive spirits throughout the season, and having fun on and off the field, the Cardinals lost only one game all season as they won the first-place trophy for the Duncan Junior Baseball Association’s U11 division.

The team also won the playoff championship, beating the Duncan Dodgers 12-8 in the league final on June 24, and won the U11 Wooden Bat Game over the Duncan A’s.

Hailey Lingren received the division award for Most Inspirational Player.

The team was coached by Jesse Davis, Gord McGeachy and Carsen Oglend, and included Tate McGeachy, Brady Kolk, Oliver Przybyl, Hailey Lingren, Nolan Davis, Matteo Royal, Kesler Pyefinch, Declan Forcier and Sawyer Oglend.
